St Mary’s is ranked among the finest Ladies' Football teams in Ulster higher education. In 2010 the team was beaten in the All-Ireland Lynch Cup and was unfortunate to be beaten in the final of the McNally Shield. In 2011 the team overcame the disappointment of 2010 and won the McNally Shield. The girls hope to build upon these successes and make an impression on the All-Ireland competition. The LGFC hold pride in being a club where strong, lasting friendships are made. It is great fun, and even if you have never touched a Gaelic ball in your life, you are more than welcome to join. Training is likely to be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Keep an eye on the notice boards, or contact Niamh for training times.
