Student Experience

Founded in 1947, the Men's Gaelic Club is a College institution. First and second teams are catered for as well as freshers' football. Last year the senior team competed at the top level of higher education football in the Sigerson Cup and Ryan Cup and also against inter-county opposition in the McKenna Cup. The formation of the second team means that the Men’s Gaelic Club has a policy of ensuring that everyone who wants a game gets to play a game. Training is held on a Monday, but for all information, keep an eye out for dates and times on the sports notice boards located in the Students’ Union, contact a member of the Gaelic Football Club or keep an eye on your College email.
